This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics and no third-party scripts. Its fonts are served from the site itself.
If you arrive from a link with campaign tags (UTM), the site keeps those tags in your browser's session storage. It passes them to the app only if you open the trial link.
Cloudflare hosts the site and sees your IP address in order to serve the pages.
What the app stores about you
- Your account: your email and whether it is verified, your first and last name, what describes your work, how you heard about us (optional), the commodities you follow or asked for, your plan and the state of your subscription, your delivery settings (time zone, brief time, channels), and the campaign tags you signed up with.
- Billing: the name, address, country and VAT number you enter in Stripe Checkout. We keep a copy for support.
- Telegram, if you link it: the chat id only, not your name or username.
- Usage: sign-ins (one a day), the app pages you open (the path only), the alerts and briefs we deliver, and the Checkouts you open and complete.
- In your browser: your sign-in tokens and preferences (theme, view) in local storage, and a few temporary sign-up keys in session storage. No cookies and no analytics.
Why we use it
- To run our contract with you: your account, delivering alerts and briefs, payments.
- Because the law requires it: invoices and tax records.
- For our legitimate interests: security (server logs), usage statistics to improve the product, and the rule of one trial week per person. For that rule we keep a one-way hash of your email, also after you delete your account.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
- Amazon Web Services, in the EU (Frankfurt): our servers, database, backups, sign-in (Amazon Cognito) and the emails we send.
- Stripe: payments, invoices and tax. Stripe receives your email, name, billing address and VAT number, and may process data outside the EU under its own safeguards.
- Telegram, only if you link it: it delivers your alerts and receives their text.
- Cloudflare: it hosts this site.
The AI models that read the news never receive your data.
How long we keep it
- Your account: until you delete it.
- Usage, and the alerts and briefs we delivered: 13 months, then they are deleted automatically.
- Backups: up to 37 days.
- Server logs (IP address, browser): overwritten on a rolling basis.
- Changes our team makes to your plan or status stay on record with your account id, not your email.
When you delete your account
You can delete your account from /account in the app. We remove your email, name, billing details, Telegram link, commodities and alert channels, and we delete your sign-in. Your subscription ends at once, with no refund for the days left.
What stays: a one-way hash of your email (for the trial rule), your account id, your time zone and brief time, the dates of your last visit and of your last paid period, and the usage records until they expire. Stripe keeps the customer record and the invoices, because tax law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected]. We answer within 30 days.
You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the authority of the country where you live.
Changes
When we change this notice, we update the date at the bottom of the page. If the change is important, we also email everyone with an account.
